Crescent has a very clear and descriptive application process when a merchant decides to sign with us. By law we are required to disclose all rates and fees that will be relevant to the merchant’s account on the application. As an additional safeguard we take 2 other measures to ensure merchant acknowledgement. We do a recorded confirmation call with the merchant at the time of sale discussing their rates and fees. Crescent sales reps are also required at the time of sale to leave the merchant a copy of our Terms and Conditions- a 22 page document outlining our standard fee schedule.
